  • Date18 May 2022

In the latest edition of the LMS newsletter former Editors-in-Chief reflect on their time in the role. From the Royal Holloway perspective, it was noticeable that two out of the last 10 Editors-in-Chief are (current or retired) members of the department.

The purpose of the LMS Newsletter is to communicate the power, beauty and value of mathematics and mathematical research by disseminating new mathematical ideas and information, and to make transparent the Society and its workings. The online version can be freely accessed. We recommend the Newsletter to anyone interested in modern mathematics.

We thank Norman Biggs and Iain Moffatt for all the work they have put into making the Newletter as good as it is! Their contribution to the latest edition of the newsletter can be found here.
