Being a good neighbour

Being a good neighbour

  • Date13 September 2021

The university is encouraging all students living in the local community to follow its ‘Be a Good Neighbour’ guidelines.

This booklet is delivered to each household during September and will be supported by digital communications and household visits to remind students about their continued responsibilities as members of the community generally as well as in relation to Covid-19.

As with previous years, Royal Holloway began its ‘Halls to Home’ campaign at the end of the last academic year and launched a new video series aimed at students, focussing on informing students leaving halls or family homes and moving into the private sector key messages about living in the local community. The videos are voiced by university and Students’ Union representatives and were filmed on campus and in Egham and Englefield Green to build on a sense of belonging and local community responsibility. The campaign will continue to be promoted as students return for the new academic year.
